JC Glick is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Army who spent time with 1st Battalion, 3rd Battalion, and 75th Ranger Regiment. During his 20-year career, he also served as a team member, Team Leader, Squadron Operations Officer and Troop Commander in the Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWG), an Army Special Missions Unit.

SGM Matthew Williams, a 3rd Special Forces Group operations sergeant, graduated from Angelo State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Driven to serve, Williams enlisted into the Army under the 18X Special Forces enlistment program in September 2005.
On 6 April 2008, ODA 3336 was on a mission to capture or kill high-value targets of the Hezeb Islami al Gulbadin in Shok Valley, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan. The events of that mission is where weapons sergeant Matt Williams and Ron Shurer (medic/18D) distinguished themselves and were later awarded the Medal of Honor.
Matt talks about the events of that day, the mentors he had, and the lessons he learned as a leader that he shares with his men today.

Doug Meyer served for four years as a rifleman on deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. "We were in Marja, Afghanistan. When we were there in 2010, it was pretty kinetic" Meyer said. During a difficult military transition and the challenges of attending grad school, Doug found his passion and co-founded Tactical Brewing Co. in Orlando, FL.
